Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Fiftj District are currently working an Assault With a Deadly Weapon Gun case.
It started in the 1400 block Of Holbrook Street NE at around 8:00 p.m. Officers were in the area patrolling when they heard around eight gunshots.
They canvassed the area and found a victim in the 1400 block of H Street NE.
The victim was shot once in the arm and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
This case is currently being investigated by the Fifth District Detectives Office.
