Police Seek Suspects in 13th Street Robbery

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) First District are looking for help identifying two suspects after a Robbery (Snatch) that happened Monday, September 3, on the 300 block of 13th Street SE.

At approximately 1:21 p.m., the victim was walking on that block when one of the suspects snatched her purse while the other acted as a lookout. Both then fled the scene.

The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the above photo.

Anyone who can identify these individuals or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099. You can also text a tip to the Department’s Text Tip Line at 50411.
