Capital City Symphony Performs ‘Trouble In Tahiti’ Sunday

Capital City Symphony opens its 51st season Sunday with an all-Bernstein program in honor of the Leonard Bernstein Centennial.

This special vocal program includes the charming Arias and Barcarolles song cycle, and a semi-staged presentation of the one-act opera Trouble in Tahiti – the only work for which Bernstein wrote the words as well as the music –  and features world-renowned opera singers Delores Ziegler and Kevin Short, esteemed of the vocal faculty at the University of Maryland.

The show starts 4 p.m. Sunday at Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H Street NE). Learn more about Capital City Symphony, Trouble in Tahiti and get your tickets online at http://www.capitalcitysymphony.org/events/2018/10/7/trouble-in-tahiti
