The Campbell family, owners of Music on the Hill (801 D St.NE) will be celebrating five great years in business this year. They want to say ‘thank you’ to the Capitol Hill community at the store’s “Birthday Party” on Saturday, November 17.
Come say congratulations, and enter the raffle, with prizes including beautiful Ukuleles from Kala Ukulele and Eastman, a guitar and more. A red-tag clearance sale will be augmented with a blanket 5% off every item in the store, including instruments that will not see any further discounts over the holiday season. Customers can also take advantage of a “buy 5, get 1 free” discount across the whole store.
There will be a scavenger hunt for bingo game with prizes, and cake for everyone. Stop in and say hello to the Campbells and reminisce about all the beautiful music the community has made together over the past five years of Music on the Hill.
The local business has struck a note nationally as well as locally. Music on the Hill was selected as one of the top 100 music stores in North America by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), a distinction they also held for the previous two years. The store was also one of three finalists in the “Top Emerging Dealer” category, which recognizes music stores who have opened in the past five years.
