How can we ensure that schools are spaces of belonging and inclusivity for all kids in DC?
On Thursday, Jan. 23 at Van Ness Elementary School (1150 Fifth St. SE) parents, teachers, school leaders, community and elected officials in the Ward 6 community to start off the New Year by discussing this important question together.
There will be a discussion with students, parents, and educators, as well as the opportunity to discuss ideas in small groups and share them with elected officials, including Councilmember Charles Allen (Ward 6) and DC State Board of Education Representative Jessica Sutter (Ward 6).
