Police have made arrests in two robberies, both involving assaults, that took place on Monday, Feb. 3, 2000.
A 41-year-old Northwest man was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred that day the 900 block of 12th Street NE.
At approximately 3:34 p.m., the suspect approached the victim, assaulted the victim and took their property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Monday, Feb. 3, two 18-year-old Southwest men were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence. At approximately 10:49 a.m., multiple suspects approached the victim on the 1300 block of Half Street SW. The suspects grabbed the victim and then took the victim’s property. Two of the suspects were apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation as police pursue additional suspects.

At 10:32 a.m. Saturday, a car was stolen on the 1600 block of E Street NE.
At 6:46 p.m. Saturday, a man was arrested on the 700 block of 26th Street NE on charges of Simple Assault.
At 9:50 p.m. Saturday, a man was arrested on the 1600 block of Rosedale Street NE on charges of Destruction of Property $1000 or more.
At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, a car was stolen on the 1200 block of Queen St. NE.
Reporting Illegal Activity
Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities helps prevent crime. If a citizen sees suspicious activity, or any activity that seems out of the ordinary, immediately call 911.
When reporting suspicious activity, give an accurate description. Here are some things to include:
Brief description of the activity;
- Date, time and location of the activity;
- Physical identifiers of anyone you observed;
- Descriptions of vehicles;
- Information about where people involved in suspicious activities may have gone;
- Your name and information.
