Are you looking for a way to contribute your time to a great cause this holiday?
Accoridng to the Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism and Partnerships (Serve DC) hundreds of volunteers like yourself have helped package over 33,000 COVID-19 self-test kits for DC residents across all 8 Wards.
Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) called the DC National Guard to help assemble kits at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center as demand for tests skyrocketed during the Holiday season. But your help is still needed to make more.
Serve DC to build testing kits on Sunday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Dec. 27, and you can help your neighbors to safely enjoy this holiday season.
Assembly will take place at 3335 V St. NE. All volunteers must be fully vaccinated and wear masks the duration of their shift. Individuals will be working at physically distanced workstations.
Four shifts are available each day:
- 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
