Do you miss Moon Rabbit? Well, the club –the Moon Rabbit Supper Club.
Coming straight from Chef Kevin Tien and his team, the -only group is a monthly subscription club. Every month Chef Kevin and his team curate a multi-course dinner for 2 to 6 people, ranging from $120 for a meal for two up to $360 for six people. Menus feature both Moon Rabbit favorites and rotating specials as well as new creations. Wine is available as an add-on.
Meals come fully prepared with reheating instructions and are available for scheduled pick up or for delivery within the District for a small fee.
It’s a way to help both the spirit and cooking live on, the team said in the introductory email.
Chef Kevin Tien’s modern Vietnamese restaurant closed in May 2023 as employees of the DC Wharf Intercontinental Hotel, where the restaurant was located, pushed for a union. At the time, there were rumors that the restaurant would reopen at a new location.
As he accepted the Chef of the Year at the RAMMY Awards, hosted in July by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, Tien said that he had been taking time to consider his next move and ways to work freely and in of his staff.
