Carjacking Near Lincoln Park Tuesday Night

There was a carjacking just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night near Lincoln Park. Two people were sitting in a black Honda Accord at about 10:14 p.m., parked on the 1300 block of East Capitol Street NE, roughly across from Holy Comforter Church.

That’s when the vehicle was approached by two suspects who pointed handguns at them and demanded the two get out of the vehicle.

The victimes complied. The suspects also stole property from both victims, including wallets, iphones and one green card. The vehicle taken was a 2014 black Honda Accord with MD tags 4EE5088.

A lookout was issued for two Black males, described as wearing ski masks and armed with handguns.

Two Robberies Tuesday Night

Last night there were two robberies on the Hill. The first took place around 7 p.m. on the 300 block of H Street NE. A look out was issued for two Black females, both described as 18 to 25 years old One was wearing a red coat and black bonnet (a cap made of smoth material designed to protect hair during sleep). The other was wearing a red coat and black bonnet.

An armed robbery took place on the 600 block of E Street NE. Police issued an alert just before 9 p.m. for two Black males. One was described as 17 years old and wearing a black hoodie. The other was wearing a black ski mask and armed with a handgun.

Robbery Near Nationals Stadium Early Wednesday

Early this morning a man was robbed on the Unit block of Potomac Avenue SE, near National Stadium. Police issued an alert around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday for three suspects. In the look out, two were described as hispanic males. The third suspect was not described but was armed with a long gun. They were last seen inside of a bray two-door coupe-style car and a black 2-door coupe-style car, both of unknown make.

MPD currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
