CommunityVolunteer Capitol Hill is Back at Hill Center

Volunteer Capitol Hill is Back at Hill Center

Do you want to give back to your community, but are unsure where to start? Well, the Hill Center is bringing local nonprofits together in one room Saturday, April 6 starting at 2 p.m. It’s your chance to find the best fit!

Volunteer Capitol Hill was established in 2013 by the Old Naval Hospital Foundation to celebrate the extraordinary contributions made by Nicky and Steve Cymrot to the Capitol Hill community over more than forty years.

Designed as an annual event designed to showcase a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer service, the event went on in-person hiatus during the pandemic.

But we’re back together to build community April 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Local organizations will be present to share how you can help them meet their mission.  Find the right fit for your talents as we build a better community.

With more than 30 local non-profit organizations on-hand you will have an opportunity to discuss specifics about volunteering directly with those that are recruiting and managing those positions.

Organizations interested in participating should Scott St. Onge at [email protected].  Attendees looking to attend and learn more about available opportunities can secure free tickets online.

This impactful event is sponsored by National Capital Bank and the Capitol Hill Community Foundation.
