Another scooter has been stolen from right under the rider. Earlier this week –on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at around noon, the suspects approached the victim, who was sitting on the scooter on the 1200 block of H Street NE.
Both suspects had handguns as they demanded the victim’s scooter. The victim complied. The suspects fled the scene on the scooter around 12:09 p.m.
One of the sustpects was captured by an area surveillance camera. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the photo above.
