This Thursday it’s the kickoff of 202Creates Month, “Homecoming: Celebrating DC’s Creative Spirit!” The event marks the beginning of a month-long celebration that amplifies the creative community that contributes $13.8 billion to DC’s economy.
The event is free and features immersive activities, performances and rooftop views from the HQO patio.
202 Creates is the government initiative to promote the District art and creative scene. 202 Creates takes place throughout the month of September and includes events like Art All Night and Jazz at the Wharf.
The celebration goes from 6 p.m. to 10 pm. at 1385 Canal Street SE —Entrance at 155 N PI. SE. Attendees should bring photo i.d. RSVP Here!
