Ward 7 Councilmember Wendell Felder (D) announced Friday that he will host a meeting on the Future of RFK Campus with Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) and representatives from Events DC.
The meeting takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Eastern High School (1700 E. Capitol St. NE). You can via Eventbrite here to get event updates.
In a newsletter shared with constituents, Felder said the meeting is an opportunity to get updates from the Councilmember, Events DC and the Mayor on redevelopment plans and how they could impact the community.

The meeting is an opportunity to both updates on planning as well as to share thoughts and concerns about any potential development with leaders, Felder’s office wrote. It is a chance to learn how changes can shape the future of Ward 7.
The meeting takes place in the wake of a community meeting hosted by the Friends of Kingman Park (FOKP) RFK Futures Task Force Feb. 4. Felder appeared at that meeting, although he did not comment on future planning at that time. The meeting was an opportunity for constituents to share their views on what should happen at the site.
