The Yards is inviting bookworms to the Capitol Riverfront for Sundeck Summer Reads, a book-themed event series taking place all month long.
This series will highlight the season’s hottest summer beach reads, offering 100 complimentary books each week to guests.
Books are selected from current best-seller lists and include recommendations from notable DC locals.
Head to The Yards Sundeck (355 Water St. SE) to pick up your book from a vibrant pop-up reading nook that cooks –with comfortable spaces to kick back, bookshelves displaying featured reads, a DJ spinning summer tunes and happy hour deals from your favorite Yards restaurants.
Books are dropped at 6 p.m. Wednesdays July 10, 17, 24 and 31.
