Police are still looking for three suspects involved in a string of robbery offenses that happened Monday, Dec. 2 between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., between NoMA and Southeast Capitol Hill.
At approximately 6:01 a.m., three suspects approached the victim in the 600 block of 10th Street NE. The suspects had handguns as they demanded the victim’s valuables; they fled the scene in a vehicle.
About a half hour later, at 6:30 a.m., what seems to be the same three suspects approached another victim at Third Street and K Street NE. The suspects tried to take that victim’s property but were unsuccessful.
At approximately 6:55 a.m., multiple victims were held up at gunpoint on the 1300 block of East Capitol Street NE by suspects fititng the same description.
Five minutes later, at approximately 7:00 a.m., three suspects approached a new victim 1800 block of Burke Street SE, taking his property before fleeing the scene.
At around 7:30 a.m., the suspects approached another victim in the 200 block of I Street NE. A few minutes later, one suspect pointed a gun at pedestrian on the 600 block of D Street NE. That suspect took the victim’s property and then fled the scene.
Finally, at around 7:46 a.m., the suspects approached what seems to have been the final victim that morning on the 600 block of Constitution Avenue NE. One pointing a gun, demanding victim’s property which they took and then fled the scene.
The suspects were captured by surveillance cameras and can been seen in the photos above and below.
